About

I have  been practising and teaching yoga for 18 years with a background in  Raja, Hatha,  Ashtanga Vinyasa and Korean Zen Meditation.   I received teacher training in Seoul,Korea where I taught for over 3 years.  After  making pilgrimages to Mysore to receive teachings from Sri Pattabhi Jois, Sri Sharath Rangaswamy and Sri V Sheshadri, I returned to Canada where I continue to study and teach Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative, and Hatha styles.

Focus on breath awareness is encouraged and developed as a basis for self-exploration through each posture and movement. Modifications, variations and alternatives are offered to allow every individual the opportunity to progress and participate fully in each class.

My original intentions of “self-healing” continues to motivate me to practice, listen and learn.  Sharing and expressing  the experience of the yoga practice  through the interaction with others  is a great inspiration for persevering in my own practice and self-development.
